Tai Chi for Balance, Clarity, and Agility
September 28 - December 7, 2026
We will be teaching in person in a room with ample space and ventilation. Unless further notice, masks optional.
Classes are held Monday evenings. See dates below which include dates of no class.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing and soft cotton-sole shoes, preferably tai chi shoes. Socks with no adhesives are OK.

Description:
Discover the benefits of Tai Chi in this introduction to the Yang Style Short Form. This series of 10 classes will introduce you to this gentle practice which helps improve balance, build strength, increase agility, and support mental clarity. Ideal for those new to Tai Chi, this class emphasizes relaxed movement, mindful breathing, and stress reduction. If you're looking to reconnect with your body in a focused way, you'll learn at a comfortable pace in a supportive environment.

Description:
In this class, you’ll take your Yang Style Short Form practice to the next level by adding new postures and sharpening your flow, balance, and strength. You’ll build greater agility, coordination, and body awareness through focused, mindful movement—helping you move more efficiently, confidently, and mindfully.
Familiarity with the entire form and instructor approval is required.
